“We were expecting the birth of our little boy at the beginning of March. Two days before the scheduled date, at dawn, he decided to come to us. I was very scared, I called the phone number provided, which was immediately answered by a kind midwife, who calmly explained what to do. She managed to calm me down with her attitude, and as a result, my husband and I made the 100 km journey to the hospital in a similar mood (of course, interspersed with exclamations of “Oh my God..we’re going to give birth!” 😄). By the time we got to the hospital, the room was prepared, which I was completely satisfied with.
The birth was a scheduled cesarean section. I was very afraid of the anesthesia, the catheter, basically the whole operation, but thanks to the attentiveness and expertise, I actually felt minimal pain or discomfort compared to what I had imagined.
They also explained the care of my baby patiently and clearly, and of course I didn’t become an expert on the subject right away, but I went home thinking I would practice and it would work.
I had a problem in two cases, but I reported it and they helped or changed it.
We were at the open day before the birth, I think we got the standard that was presented there, so we were satisfied.”
